seriously. What we also take seriously are the privacy of our Members and
Guests, and the information entrusted to us as they use the features and
services of CharcoalBob.com.

may change from time to time so please check back periodically.
What This Privacy Policy Covers
This policy covers how CharcoalBob.com treats personal information and data that
we collect and receive from your use of CharcoalBob.com. Personal information
is information about you that is personally identifiable such as your name,
address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly
available.
This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that may display
content, advertising and offers to you via CharcoalBob.com, or companies that
provide services, such as membership billing, to CharcoalBob.com. Please refer
to the respective privacy policies of these companies.
Information Collection and Use
CharcoalBob.com collects personal information when you become a Charcoal Bob
Member. This includes your name, address and email address. During the
enrollment process, CharcoalBob.com also collects select information from
PayPal, such as the PayPal subscription details needed should you cancel your
Membership. However, CharcoalBob.com does NOT collect information related to
your PayPal account, including credit card information or your PayPal password.
CharcoalBob.com may collect personal information such as your name and email
address if you request support, provide feedback or offer suggestions about the
service. CharcoalBob.com also collects personal information from PayPal, such
as your name and email address if you make a contribution via the Charcoal Bob
Tip Jar. However, CharcoalBob.com does NOT collect information related to your
PayPal account, including credit card information or your PayPal password.
Companies that display content, advertising and offers to you via
CharcoalBob.com may also request or require personal information such as your
name, address, email address, etc.
CharcoalBob.com automatically receives and records information on our server
logs from your browser, including your IP address, CharcoalBob.com cookie
information, the pages you request, items on the grilling list, cookout
parameters and cookout printouts.
CharcoalBob.com collects information about your use of the services for the
general purposes: of customizing the content you may see, to fulfill your
requests for products, services and support, to improve our services, conduct
research, provide anonymous reporting for internal and external purposes and
ensure that the services are being used according to the Terms of Use and
Member Agreement.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
CharcoalBob.com does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you
with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or
services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following
circumstances:
. We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or
exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
. We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate,
prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud,
situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person,
violations of our Terms of Use or Member Agreement, or as otherwise required by
law.
. We transfer information about you if CharcoalBob.com is acquired by or merged
with another company. In this event, CharcoalBob.com will notify you before
information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy
policy.
CharcoalBob.com may display targeted content, advertising and offers based on
personal information. Advertisers (including ad serving companies) may assume
that people who interact with, view, or click on targeted ads meet the
targeting criteria - for example, owners of grills from a particular geographic
area.
Cookies
CharcoalBob.com may set and access CharcoalBob.com cookies on your computer. A
cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a Web server
and may be stored on your computer's hard drive.
CharcoalBob.com may let other companies that display content, advertisements or
provide services on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on your
computer. Use of cookies by other companies is subject to their respective
privacy policies.
Advertisers, content providers or other companies do not have access to
CharcoalBob.com cookies.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences
CharcoalBob.com Members can edit your account information, including your
preferences for receiving or opting-out from offers from Charcoal Bob or other
companies, at any time by selecting the Member Services tab at the top of every
Member screen.
CharcoalBob.com Members can also edit and delete your Favorites, grills and
preferred settings by selecting the options available from the My Grilling tab.
We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the services
of CharcoalBob.com, such as service announcements and administrative messages
that are considered part of your CharcoalBob.com account, without offering you
the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
Members can cancel their CharcoalBob.com membership at any time. In most cases
your account will be deactivated and then all stored preferences, cookouts and
the like will be deleted from our user database in approximately 30 days. This
delay is necessary to discourage users from engaging in fraudulent activity.
Please note that any information that we have copied may remain in back-up
storage for some period of time after your deletion request. This may be the
case even though no information about your account remains in our active Member
databases.
Confidentiality and Security
CharcoalBob.com limits access to personal information about you and details
about your cookouts to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into
contact with that information to provide support or services to you, or in
order to do their jobs.
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect personal
information about you.
Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
CharcoalBob.com uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting
certain kinds of information, such as payment information. An icon resembling a
padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browsers window during SSL
transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment.
Reporting Incidents
If you believe your CharcoalBob.com account has been compromised, please
contact: privacy@charcoalbob.com.
If you have been contacted by someone about your CharcoalBob.com account asking
for a Sign In ID, password or other personal information, please forward the
email to privacy@charcoalbob.com.
